You don’t have to have any business experience or any connections to start a side hustle or business. You don’t need a huge following, or to know about technology. You do need to have ambitions and curiosity. You need to use your time to soak in this information and take action.

Liz Enriquez
Liz is an entrepreneur as well as a a stock market and real estate investor. She started her first side-hustle, Shoutouts Hamilton in 2015 as a way to promote and give “shout outs” to local businesses. From 2015-2019 she managed and worked with over 40 social media accounts, ran online contests, organized influencer events, managed launches and events, and offered training to organizations of all sizes. After she purchased her first property at 24 years old, Liz started blogging for fun in 2016. In 2018 her blog evolved into Ambitious Adulting and became a profitable business. Liz paid off her student debts, traveled to over 20 countries, purchased two real estate properties and grew her net worth to over 6 figures before she turned 28.
Emily o’brien
Emily O’Brien is the founder of Comeback Snacks and star of the Digital Canaries series CRIMINALLY-ACCLAIMED™. An entrepreneur, social media influencer, and ex-convict, Emily founded Comeback Snacks in 2018, a boutique popcorn company inspired by the recipes used by inmates of the women’s prison where Emily served a brief term.
Emily’s mission at Comeback Snacks is to provide high quality, healthy, and tasty snacks for people to enjoy while also providing inspiration and training for ex-convicts looking to start fresh. She has advocated for prison reform and has sat with officials from city halls across Ontario to Parliament Hill in Ottawa. Emily holds an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in International Development from the University of Guelph, and has volunteered for organizations such as AIESEC and Habitat for Humanity. She has been featured in the Hamilton Spectator, on CHCH TV, and CBC Radio and TV. She lives in Hamilton.
